Arrived in a well-packaged box, the delivery was earlier than stated which is impressive! I recommend to be present upon receiving. The original price is what putting off fans from getting one. I contemplated for a year and saw Airpods Max was on discounted price so this was a good buy – saved close to $200 🤯. Product feels solid and luxurious. Sound wise, it’s insanely good especially with Apple Music Spatial Audio or Lossless . If anyone is an Apple fan like I am, he or she will love it. I can’t wait to use it everyday and give a full-on review.

The earpod is comfortable to my ears. Not painful after wearing it for more than 5 hours. The sound is good but not high end audiophile. For the price you paid, it may not be compare to entry level high end headphone. But it is good enough for daily usage.

It’s definitely pricey but I think its worth it. I have the Bose over the head noise cancellation headphones and I was happy with that but after I purchased the AirPods Max, I could tell a major difference between them, it’s definitely a major upgrade. The sound is amazing! The weight was an issue for me at the beginning but I got used to it. It also gave me headaches cause it was pressuring down on the sides of my head but I think you kind of have to stretch it and open the sides when putting it on and I had no issues after it. Overall, like all Apple products, it never ceases to amaze me.

Great for the gym –
BEWARE!!!! I purchased these airpod pro max new yesterday and they arrived this afternoon. Opened the Amazon box up to find the Apple box without sealed plastic around it. Upon taking out the airpods I noticed the protective paper covering was torn on one side. Upon attempting to pair the airpods to my phone, I got the message that the airpods we paired to someone else’s Apple ID. Upon contacting Apple to double check things, the serial number found that the ‘NEW’ Airpods were in fact registered back in February.
I have since contacted Amazon SG (as they sold the product) and they are replacing the item which is great (and I will be checking the serial number with Apple again), but the fact they tried to pass off a used item to me has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Perhaps it would’ve been better to just go to the Apple store…

Firstly I brought these for the gym as my other EarPods kept falling out on the treadmill. They are awesome for most gym activities apart from when lying down stretching or Ab work. The headphones slip back. But apart from that, they are awesome. I love the transparency mode, I actually think I can hear better with it on. The colour and design are very eye catching, modern and sleek. Overall I am very pleased.

It’s so good, they are so sleek and the sound is amazing. Just make sure when not in use they are in the case otherwise battery will drain even if the headphones are flat it will still drain unless in case. Only problem is I have thick curly hair so when I wear it it doesn’t sit that well.

So glad that i bumped to Amazon App and saw this in discounted price! I was hesitant at first as i still like my 4 year old bose qc35. Im happy that I was able to convince myself to purchase it. The noise cancellation is good but yet to try on plane travelling(so soon!). I dont put my expectation high but hopefully it exceeds as my purpose of purchasing noise cancellation headset is mainly for travelling companion. Overall, i like the design( and sky blue color!) though there is a bit of weight when wearing it. Battery is fine even if there is no off/on function, received it with 83% and atm, it still 43% for 3rd day with 3-4 hrs use every day.

Bought these to replace a pair of 6 year old Bose QC35’s. They are still going, but the battery is just starting to lose their charge on those.
I wanted to stay in the Apple ecosystem as I already own the AirPod Pros; love the super easy connection to Apple devices. The switching between devices is very good which is what I wanted. They are high quality build as you would expect from Apple. The noice cancellation is as good as you would expect from wireless headphones of this calibre. Just as good as the QC35’s; cannot compare to Sony’s headphones which I hear are amazing as well.
I tend to keep these charged quite often so I cannot speak to the length of a charge. I dont use these very heavily; mostly late at night for a few hours watching TV, listening to music on my Mac when others have gone to bed, a bit more on the weekend. Maybe about a week or so using these that much. With heavy daily use it would be much more often obviously.
So, the price of these; even Amazon selling for a bit of a cheaper price puts these at a high entry price. I would argue the QC35’s are probably better value for money if you are getting a first pair of quality wireless headphones. At the price these go for, its purely for the the Apple aesthetic, the connection to other Apple devices across an eco-system. They really feel more like a guilty pleasure purchase for sure; the sound from the QC35’s I have were just as good in many ways. I am not an audiophile by any stretch though, I just know they both sound good.
Also the QC35’s did not seem as tight to wear and the cushioning on the cups on those were just like a pillow. You could forget you were wearing those, AirPods Max are definitely heavier and a bit tighter fit, but still quite comfortable even for hours of use.
Most novice headphone fans will likely get better value with other cheaper cans. If you like the look of these specifically, if you LOVE Apple products, are deep in their ecosystem and have multiple Apple devices that you switch between, then these might be worth the extra cost. They look and sound amazing and I am loving them a lot.

From a technical standpoint these headphones are amazing. Apples version of ANC and spatial audio are both game changing features. Not sure I’m allowed to name other brands in a review but I will say I own all of the “top three” over the ear bluetooth headphones and for sound quality and features these blow them out of the water. Literally no comparison. The only knocks I would give these from technical standpoint are the lightening charger and maybe that there is no 3.5 jack. Unfortunately for me I cant use these headphones as much as I want too.
My first issue is with the fit. They have the most comfortable ear cups of any of my many sets of headphones but they fit like a vice grip. Could be because of my big head but I don’t have this issue with any other pair I own. After only an hour wearing these I feel like Im in a headlock from a professional wrestler. The other issue is the ANC in these make me sick. I can only use it for a short period (maybe 30 minutes) and I feel nauseous. I’m not sure why because I have a total of 7 sets of headphones and earbuds with ANC and none of them have this effect on me. I assume its because of the level of ANC Apple have attained here (its the best I’ve ever experienced). I wish apple included a way to turn it down a bit. Even at say 75% I would think it would still be the best out there and it might allow more people to make use of them. Choice is not very Apple though. All that said I am not returning these. One, I’m a bit of a collector and two, I’m holding out hope that they wii become more comfortable over time (or I’ll get used to them).
