Got these as a replacement for older version of the kids bottles and extra for the new version of bottle. They fit both.

This is the new version of straw but fit my old version bottle. Seem easier to wash.

So everything is a direct fit and these are great replacements but, only thing keep it from being a 5 star is that the slit/openings are very tight. You have to massage or shove something through the opening to allow the slit to open. Once open, all is well.
These versions do seem to be a little better quality compared to the original versions.
You should know that they fit Different style/design “lids” but, the straw size/diameter is larger. You won’t be able to use old/smaller straws with these. The straws do “yellow” over time so, replacing them isn’t a bad thing to do.

Yes, the straws were too long, but the company did this on purpose so the straws could fit several different models of drink bottle. On the box there are instructions and measurements for cutting the straw to the right length. The plastic is soft enough to cut with a kitchen knife, a very easy fix, nothing to worry about.

I consider myself a veteran mom at this point, since I have 8 kids aged 15 to not quite born yet… So here’s my take. Some of the complaints were that the nipples were. It open. Just pinch the tips and roll them around in your fingers and the slit will come loose. I see where those reviews are coming from though. If I didn’t check them before use, I’d probably be frustrated as well. So just check them before use. I toss these in my dishwasher before use, so I was able to check each one. Love the fact that I CAN replace the parts, as opposed to contigo, where I ended up buying new bottles for my older kids when they were little, because they were harder to get clean and even with only water would eventually mold.
As to the reviews saying these didn’t fit, keep in mind they are for the Eddy+ bottles, NOT Eddy original. If you have a more narrow hook on the back of your child’s water bottle, this is NOT the right part. This is for the newer model with a wider “hook” portion.

Bite valves are good. But I was trying to replace straws/mechanism for bottles which were approx 2-3 years old and they just don’t fit. The straws fall out, or are too small or short.

My son chewed through his first nozzle and these are a good cheap option to replace them.

I bought these for the exact waterbottle they’re meant to fit. But the straws are longer than the ones that came with the bottle. Some of the mouth pieces were open, some needed to be punctured. What’s going on with the quality control here? I was really disappointed.

These are great and do fit the older style Eddy bottles but only with the supplied straws (the older style is thinner).
