Cercavo una dashcam che facesse il time lapse in modalità parcheggio e l’ho trovata. Inizialmente a prezzo scontato di 25€ e con la possibilità di ricevere il cavo per il collegamento sui fusibili su richiesta (altre dashcam forniscono solo l’alimentatore classico per l’accendisigaro). A questo prezzo non c’è di meglio. La qualità video è buona di giorno e si riescono a leggere le targhe ma di sera difficilmente si riescono a vedere nonostante la buona risoluzione. Altra nota positiva è che il video risulta stabilizzato quindi quando si prendono buche o si percorrono strade dissestate il video risulta stabile.
Il dubbio sul kit per la modalità parcheggio è che essendo un vero e proprio attacco che va a sostituire il fusibile non si capisce che amperaggio di protezione supporta (perché internamente è composto proprio come un fusibile).
La dashcam usa la connessione wifi per collegarsi tramite app Jarviscam al telefono tramite cui è possibile scaricare i video e gestirla.
PS. Da 4 a 5 stelle ma ne darei anche 6 perché dopo il guasto del hardwire kit (fornitomi gratis) li ho contattati e mi stanno inviando un altro per sostituirlo. Venditore eccellente ed il prodotto merita. Consigliatissimo!

Premetto che avevo bisogno di una dash cam senza spendere una cifra esorbitante.
Questa GKU è veramente sorprendente: in circa 1h si riesce a passare i cavi lungo le guarnizioni della macchina (io l’ho installata nella mia Fiat 500).
Le pellicole che si devono applicare sul vetro, prima di attaccare la dashcam con gli adesivi, sono sottilissime e non lasciano bolle, praticamente spariscono e non si notano più. Menu molto completo, la telecamera riprende in 2k fino a 30 fps.
Non mi soffermo sulle caratteristiche tecniche che si trovano nella descrizione, ma alcune osservzioni.
Il wifi è comodo per rivedere subito video o situazioni particolari sul cellulare.
Consiglio di montarla in modo che si nasconda dietro lo specchietto retrovisore, non troppo in basso, tanto l’angolo di visuale, anche in altezza, è molto ampio.
Consigliatissima, oggi non se ne può fare a meno.

I purchased a GKU-D200 dash cam through Amazon. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it to operate as expected and made contact with the customer support team by email. We worked through numerous trouble shooting processes, the team we’re very prompt and professional with each email reply. Gkutech offered and shipped a replacement which worked as expected first time. Thank-you guys, your support was awesome.
Now that I’m using it the recordings are incredibly clear day and night recordings for such a budget unit this is great value for money.

Easy to install, gives a good coverage of the road and traffic, easy to get a record on your phone to have a record of your trip.

ONLY thing I’m marking it down for is that even with ‘low’ sensitivity to ‘crash’ detection which ‘locks’ the footage from being overwritten, it still trigger the camera to lock very often, even on when going over small bumps or potholes.
Other than that annoying lil thing that you get used to and learn to ignore, it’s a great purchase

Entusiasta dell’acquisto ne riassumo alcuni aspetti
Pro:
– grado di visione più che sufficiente collocandola però non sul parabrezza ma un po’ in dietro sulla plafoniera sensori adas e pioggia risultando cosi anche meno visibile
– 2.5k più che sufficienti per leggere le targhe
– dimensioni compatte della cam
– piedistallo smontabile
– cavo alimentazione sufficientemente lungo
– app ben fatta e in italiano comprensibile
– connessione wifi impeccabile
Contro:
– presa accendisigari voluminoso in altezza,. Avrei preferito cavo alimentazione staccato dalla presa accendisigari e magari USB per attaccarlo alle prese USB a 5v di cui ormai molte auto sono dotate.
– non ho gradito la funzione registrazione audio interna all’abitacolo (registra sempre e tutto!) o almeno sarebbe meglio poterla escludere
– led di accensione appena visibile di giorno
– le esigue istruzioni cartacee allegate dovrebbero spiegare meglio tutte le funzioni

La dashcam è perfetta, non presenta alcun problema ed è facile da installare. In un primo momento avevo richiesto il reso in quando credevo mancasse un accessorio ma in realtà il venditore mi ha subito contatto spiegandomi passo passo come risolvere “il problema”. È stato molto cordiale e disponibile tanto che ora ho annullato il reso ed installato il kit sulla mia autovettura per un maggior controllo e protezione. L’ho utilizzato per qualche giorno in combinazione con una scheda SD da 64 gb che permette il salvataggio di una grande mole di video anche in qualità superiore. Ho trovato l’applicazione molto intuitiva e facile da utilizzare. È possibile sia l’installazione tramite presa 12 volt oppure tramite hardware kit (da ordinare separatamente) che abilita la funzione “parking mode” e “timelaps”. Prodotto consigliato per qualità e professionalità del venditore.

The dashcam is perfect, no problems arise and it is easy to install. At first, I have requested a return as I thought an accessory was missing but in reality the seller immediately contacted me explaining step by step how to solve “the problem”. He was very friendly and helpful so much that I have now canceled the return and installed the kit on my car for greater control and protection. I used it for a few days in combination with a 64 gb SD card which allows saving a large amount of videos even in higher quality. I found the application very intuitive and easy to use. Installation via 12 volt socket or via hardware kit (to be ordered separately) which enables the “parking mode” and “timelapses” function is possible. Product recommended for quality and professionalism of the seller.

Ottimo rapporto tra qualità delle immagini sia di notte che di giorno, un po’ basso il rilevamento del suono del microfono rispetto ad altre dashcam avute in precedenza, ma accettabile.
Io l’ho installata su mezzo pesante da una settimana con una sd card da 128 GB e ne sono soddisfatto al momento.
Possibilità di registrare video che durano da 1 a 3 minuti di durata. Consiglio di tenerla sui 3.
Dalla sua app entrando nella libreria si potranno vedere orario ed anteprima delle immagini, e sarà possibile modificare con della musica già predisposta o eliminare l’audio registrato prima di salvare i video sul cellulare, oppure ancora velocizzare la durata del video a piacimento.
Il tutto abbastanza intuitivo.
DIFETTI:
Attenzione a modificare i parametri della qualità delle immagini perché a me ha fatto un pessimo scherzo, scoprendo che la registrazione risultava inguardabile (ho allegato una foto). Sono giusto due i parametri, sconsiglio di andare a toccarli o se lo fate, eseguite dei test prima di affidarvi alla sua registrazione. Nel caso è facile andare a modificarli nuovamente!
Attenzione che quando entrate nell’APP almeno su IPhone: mentre registrate se accedete nella libreria dei video già registrati, oppure nelle impostazioni della dashcam, le sentirete dire “stop recording”, poiché smetterà di registrare finché non uscirete tornando rigorosamente indietro fino alla schermata principale dove vedere l’anteprima di cosa registra in tempo reale. “Rigorosamente” perché se per caso mentre siete nelle due sezioni descritte chiudete l’app lei non riprenderà a registrare per molto tempo. Quindi prestare attenzione a questo particolare, comunque la sentiere dire “start recording” al suo riavvio se avrete fatto tutto regolarmente.
