I don’t use the motion detection on this. It’s a pain. Really annoying. Goes off when you want it to be on. Sometimes doesn’t come on quick enough. Major pain.
However it can operate as a basic head torch and it’s great in that mode. I use it to illuminate in dark or dim locations when doing home maintenance. I also have used it for camping.
I love this … but they could have saved money and not included the motion sensor imo.

The headlamp charges and works well. It will be interesting to see how long the charge keeps in a very cold climate. I’m not sure how much I will use the “sensor motion” to turn it on and off. It’s comfortable and has an adjustable strap.
