I originally bought the Mac version for me which works brilliantly. My husband needed something on his PC to do spreadsheets and text documents so I bought him the PC version. Basically it’s more or less identical to Microsoft Office and for less than £10, it’s a not brainer.

I got the CD version as it offered a few extras. And, spending a few quid on this compared to the costly alternative we all know was a no brainer. Installed easily and is easy to use. Templates side of things was a little bit complicated but not unsolvable. I saved the templates that I wanted to my desktop which when I double click on it opens up OpenOffice. Just a word to wise, not all their CDs say “Premium Edition” on them but I have been assured it is. And, also assured it will work with Windows 11. Am presently using 10 with expectation that update will come fairly soon so pleased it has that compatibility. Btw, in the box the instructions provide a link for getting the software should the CD be an issue.

I was really needing software which I could use to open Word.doc documents, the Word Pad which I have on my computer didn’t seem to work so I looked at various websites for solutions but they were too complicated. I investigated the cost of buying Word but the cost was too high considering I really only need the word processing part not all the spreadsheets et all . So far I have used it for word processing and it functions perfectly, I am not very computer savvy but I am delighted with how easy it is to use and the price is very good. Too sum up this product is great and meets my simple requirements perfectly.

Bought this product as it was far cheaper than MS Office. It loaded ok, does what I needed it to do. Great buy. Recommended.

I have Windows 10. Easy to upload but hard to open. I bought mainly to amend application forms but even though these forms have colour backgrounds, I can only open them in plain black and white. And trying to amend existing lettering is just hit and miss. I use my old Windows 7 laptop to do the job – DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
