Does its job well. Very strong clamp and the hook rotates both ways which is nice for putting it on either side of the desk comfortably. I plan on upgrading my headphones this year so I’m not sure how they will sit on the hook. Only current con for me is the cable clip. I have some old Sennheiser HD 280 Pros and the best the clip can do is hold the jack after I wrap my cable on the hook. Other than that, I think this is a pretty solid hook to get the headphones off your desk when they aren’t being used.

This is exactly what I wanted: An easy effective way to hang my headphones under my desk. I have an up/down desk with no drawers, so taking charge of my desktop is a constant challenge. One obvious step was finding a way to keep my headphones handy but out of the way when I’m not using them. I have a quality set for video and sound editing and mastering. They’re bulky Beyerdynamic 770s with an attached cord—not something to just have sitting on top.
I looked at the other options, and the various T-shaped products that adhere to the bottom of the desk just didn’t look sturdy enough for me. And my desktop wood is really friggin hard and not all that thick, so drilling in starter holes for screws would have been a bit nerve wracking. And I didn’t need to hang 2 sets of headphones.
The other alternatives that have tightening bolts and stick out away from the desk edge just don’t appeal to me. I don’t want to add to obstacles when I move around my desk.
This mount is simple, requires no tools, pinches quite well even on my 1cm desktop. The pivot is easy, the hook is plenty wide for my headphones, the tab on the end ensures that I’m not likely to accidentally knock the headphones off, and I do not feel concerned that the mount is going to fail. (This is a headphone mount, not a hook for your backpack.)
Adhesion: 5 stars for clamping tightly to my thin desktop. Sturdiness: 5 stars for being all that’s needed, while being both flexible and snug. Material quality: 5 stars, because the next step would seem to be CF or metal, and that’s just not needed.

I was a bit worried with buying these because I had other ones before that kept breaking when I would bump to them with my chair. I decided to try these because I could change the orientation of them or could change orientation if I bumped to them by mistake with my chair. I used it for a few months now and I can say that they look and feel great. I keep changing the orientation to go inside or outside the desk and I can’t make up my mind. But it is sturdy and does exactly what I need. My expensive headphones are safe on these hooks and I feel I can put anything there that it will hold nicely. I recommend this product.

Clamp is very adjustable to suit most tables. I was actually surprised at how thick of a table it would adhere to. Love how the ear phone rest swivel a full 360° and has a little slot to hold the cord out of the way. So good, I bought another one for work.

I bought this almost a year ago and had zero issues until today, when the hook piece fell off. The screw inside isn’t fixed so you have to remove the 4 screws from the main body to access the screw to re-attach the hook piece.
There is a small washer between the screw and the main piece- make sure that stays in place. I placed the whole thing on my desk and pressed down to ensure I could get it screwed all the way back in. You then put the main piece back on, replace the screws and you’re back in business. The screws will strip easily so make sure you’re using a good screw driver.
Ideally you’d be able to swivel to your hearts content without the thing coming apart. I didn’t have any thread locker or I would have added that to ensure it doesn’t come apart as easily again.

It’s not overly complicated and it does what it’s meant to do: holds your headphones neatly on the side of your table/desk. I used it to help organize my bedside table where I usually dumped my Beats headphones into a basket. This is much better! It seems adjustable to most tabletops. Mine is pushing the limit a bit (IKEA Lack side table) because it has an extremely thick tabletop (2”). But, I think it would work for most tables/desks really nicely. Get it! You’ll be happy to have a nice little hook to hang your headphones on.
