I previously had the Sony XM4 earbuds, but I returned them after finding the controls were inconsistent, pairing missed some of the time, and they were uncomfortable.
The Galaxy Buds seem to have solved all of these. They pair easily with my phone (also a Samsung), the touch controls are reliable and responsive. I especially love the ability to long-press one earbud to open and play Spotify, this removes the “insert earbuds, get phone from pocket, unlock phone, start Spotify, put phone back” dance.
They’re also very comfortable. I have big, sitcky-out ears and these are smaller and fit much more nicely than the Sony ones. Wearing them for several hours is fine.
One area where the Sony ones win is noise canceling. The Galaxy Bud 2 Pros are pretty good, but the Sonys were better. If you want distraction-free listening, these are good enough. If you need to he absolutely cocooned with your music to the exclusion of everything else, these might not meet your needs.

Love the colour. Nice and compact. Comfortable to wear. Audio is very clear. Great to be able to talk on the phone hands free. Would not go back to earphones with a lead that plugs in. Really happy with these ear buds, they connect seamlessly with my Samsung phone.

So I’m a music fan, and I’ve tried many different headphones and buds over the years. My last pair were the Jabra Elite 7, which is fantastic, I’ve since lost them, and the lack of a find me feature is a pain. So I bought the Samsung Buds. Ok, sound quality 9/10, ANC 8/10, ambient mode 10/10, build quality 10/10
The ambient mode is impressive; I can hear better with the buds in, especially if you turn on the boost mode.
All in all, they’re pretty good.

Absolutely love these eat buds. So much so that I bought my wife a pair and she also loves them. I personally use them mostly for extended phone calls mostly (one was a 5 hour business call) but when I have used them for music while walking, the volume and bass is great. They’re comfortable to wear for extended periods and easy to forget that they’re in when you have the ambient setting on. My wife uses them for Netflix and YouTube while she’s cooking or doing stuff around the house. Highly recommend

Ich höre viel Audio und auch gern mit Kopfhörern. Da habe ich neben meinen feinen kabelgebundenen Kopfhörern, die in einer ganz anderen Liga spielen, aber z.B. auch das Jabra On-Ear Bluetooth Headset mit ANC, das auch gern mal mit meinem Samsung Smartphone verbunden wird. Ich kann also direkt vergleichen: Das Jabra ist nicht für Musikgenuss konzipiert, aber der Klang von dort ist um Welten besser als von den – für mich nicht nachvollziehbar – hochgelobten Buds2 Pro. “Verwaschen” und undifferenziert könnte man den nennen, bassbetont und höhenschwach. Gerade die Höhen sind ziemlich abschreckend für audiophile Ohren: Die typisch unangenehmen “metallisch-grauen” MP3-Höhen werden von den Buds auch noch jeglichen Resten ihrer manchmal noch vorhandenen Seidenhaftigkeit und Brillianz enthoben. Die diversen Equalizer können das zwar etwas ausgleichen, aber wer Musik nicht nur konsumieren, sondern auch genießen will, der sollte sich was anderes kaufen.
Das ANC rauscht, wenn kein anderes Audiosignal kommt, nimmt aber die dumpfen tiefen Geräusche ganz gut weg – im Alltagsgebrauch ist das besser als ohne. 360°-Sound führt zu furchtbaren Artefakten bei Musik. Daher brauchbar für mich nur dann, wenn ich einen Sprecher nicht mitten im Kopf haben möchte, sondern etwas vor mir. Nice to have, aber wirklich kein muss.
Die Abdichtung des Ohres funktioniert bei mir gut, es liegen 3 Paar Dichtungen verschiedener Größen dabei, die sollten für jeden passen. Man kann die Sensorik der Buds so konfigurieren, dass beim längeren Fingerdranhalten die Außengeräusche deutlicher hörbar werden, und es gibt eine Automatik, die Konversation erkennt und die Buds dann sofort so einstellt, dass man mit einander reden kann, ohne sie aus den Ohren nehmen zu müssen. Das finde ich wirklich hilfreich und zeigt mir, dass KI (oder so was in der Richtung) durchaus nützlich sein kann.
Das Bedienkonzept im Zusammenspiel mit der App ist OK und funktioniert, das geht für meine Bedürfnisse in Ordnung.
Und – das überrascht jetzt vielleicht – ich werde die Dinger behalten. Und zwar aus einem einzigen Grund: Ich bin viel unterwegs, öfter woanders als Zuhause und mag deshalb das große Jabra Headset oder irgendwelche bewegungsstörende kabelgebundene Teile nicht auch immer noch mit mit herumschleppen. Genau für den Zweck werde ich die nun die Buds2 Pro dabei haben: Sie sind wirklich klein und dank der kleinen, genialen Ladebox sehr komfortabel und gut geschützt zu transportieren. Das passt alles in die Jackentasche. Und noch mehr Geld ausgeben will ich dafür nicht, denn wirklichen Audiogenuss gönne ich mir meistens sowieso nicht unterwegs, sondern zu Hause in Ruhe – mit ganz anderen Audiogeräten.

I had samsung galaxy buds pro before, and as far as I remember, it sounds good even with instrumentals. But this one? Doesn’t fit my lifestyle. I thought that my razer earbuds will finally be replaced due to its shitty connection, but nah, I still prefer to have intermittent connection issues than hearing grainy instruments ☹️.
PROs: – good voice quality – bunch of features – complete accessories – cheaper than any other stores
CONs: – rock & anime music sucks here as instrumentals sounded like in an average earbuds. It has grainy, or static-like sound in it. I currently have razer hammerhead TWS 2021, and that one sounded better than this honestly and that has better battery
