Samantha Appenzeller –
Over the years I have used different headphones/earphones. Some have been wireless (Bluetooth), some wired, some over-ear, some in-ear. My ears are not very good. I use 2 hearing aids. While my wife watches TV, in the same room, to keep her company, I watch YouTube, BBC iPlayer, or Amazon Prime videos on a mobile phone, tablet or laptop. It is important that I mute the external speakers so as not to spoil my wife’s listening, hence the need for headphones/earphones.
Using these phones, I needed subtitles, because the sound was “blurred”, causing me to miss important speech. Because of the lack of speech clarity, I was reluctant to pay for expensive phones, for fear of wasting the high cost. Then I purchased a Samsung Galaxy mobile phone about a year ago. With it was a free Samsung AKG in-earphones, USBc plug type. They were left untouched for many months, partly because they were not Bluetooth, and partly because I had no confidence that yet another set would be any different. A few months ago, I discovered them in the mobile phone box, and decided to try them before binning them.
Well!! The Samsung AKG earphones were so clear that I hardly need subtitles any more. It’s like I am back to my young ears again. I was so pleased that I purchased a second set to use with the Tablet and Laptop.
I discovered that using one of those little USBc to USBa adapters works just as well in the Laptop, if the USBc port is used for something else. All my previous ear/headphones have been made redundant.

I ordered a pair of these as a Christmas present for someone. They did not work, so I returned them and ordered another pair which also did not work. I tried them on two different handsets, both of which work with other headphones. No idea what the problem is? You plug them in and nothing happens. Perhaps they only work with Samsung galaxy phones, but if that is the case that should be made clear on the details.

They do the job

Happy with the purchase, they work well

Passive ear buds are a great backup to my Bluetooth ones.
Cord is long enough to have the E phone tucked away in the pocket or bag without any hindrance.
Good ear fit, although it might slide out if not pushed in properly. Check the silicone fittings.
No-tangle cable is a plus and hassle free.

These are great if you are I’m a quiet environment for audio and phone calls, but venture into an area with a little noise (useless on publi transport) and these struggle to compete and have a very low max volume.
I’ve had £6 in ear with mic versions that are more suitable on multiple environments.
Only keeping these for phone calls when quiet as its goid then eith clear mic

Edit: very unhappy with the white headphones. They are clearly not real AKH Samsung headphones as the sound quality is terrible and it doesnt come through half the time. Really disapppinted – from a previous 5 star review to less than 1 star if I could!
Previous:Really great value for money, has noise cancelling effect too which is perfect. I was worried these might be poor quality imitations of the real thing but I have no complaints so far.

Paid the price for not doing my research with these. I would not recommend these.
Positives – arrived quicker than expected; cable looks robust
Negatives – unable to get a secure fit with any of the providee ear buds; swapping the ear buds over is really difficult due to the way they fit; sound quality is very tinny/low bass
Overall, not usable for me
Have now ended up with a much better solution using my £20 Sennheiser earbuds with a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter I bought for a fiver.
