I bought these headphones mid way through the Rona because I needed to jump on more and more conference calls. I absolutely love them. Recently, the mic stopped working and I was absolutely gutted but relieved when customer service quickly arranged for a replacement. Excellent product and excellent service I highly recommend it!!

I much prefer using wireless bone conducting headphone and the Shokz OpenComm works well. I previously used Shokz headphones and have not used other brands so I can’t say the are better than others, just the they work well and consistently for online meetings and calls using my laptop or my mobile.

Am having to return these due to being completely unusable for video conferencing. We use, predominantly MS Teams and they work well… until I speak. At which point Teams tries to juggle sound input and output from the same device, fails, and cuts both.

It’s not an OpenComm problem so much as a Teams one, but Shokz do not mention it anywhere. You have to dig on Microsoft support forums to find out what is going on. The suggested solution from MS, buy a different headset.

    Very disappointed.

Tried using this with both my computer and my phone; microphone only picks up voice if shouting or – by taking off the left earpiece – holding the microphone right to my lips.
Other Shokz products are fabulous, headphones on this are great as expected. Microphone is useless.
The microphone on my Shokz OpenRun actually works better!

Service was prompt and headsets also came with a case which was a pleasant surprise.

I bought these specifically for work as during the hot weather it is uncomfortable wearing my jabra.
The idea is great but unfortunately they just aren’t compatible when trying to answer calls in teams.
The ‘accept call’ doesn’t work on the multi function button and when trying to adjust volume in a call, all I can hear is ‘battery high’.
It’s a shame as the concept is great and they are comfortable to wear.
Back to the jabra i go sadly, will be returning these

I have four pairs of different models of shokz for running and swimming, love them.
But these are useless for MS teams meetings if you need to be muted. When you push the teams mute button, the headset announces that it is muted and then super annoyingly double beeps every 10 seconds until unmuted, making it really hard to follow the meeting.

I’ve engaged the Shokz support folk and they tell me it is a Microsoft problem and will not respond to my requests further assistance.

Really disappointing as the description claims that the product is made for use in the professional office environment, MS Team is a very standard office use.

Please Shokz, fix your product, or at least update the description.

    Pro’s:
    * For voice, podcasts, audiobooks etc this is brilliant. I can be heard clearly on calls and I can hear voices very well, even at lower volumes
    * Some other reviews complain of headaches using this product. I’ve had similar experience however I found its because it was sitting too close to my ear and therefore not fully on the bone. I move them slightly further forward from the ear, it doesn’t sound quite as good but its far more comfortable and worth the trade off.
    * Once you’ve positioned them correctly (as above), they are incredibly comfortable and I can wear them for hours at a time
    * The magnetic charging is spot on, it won’t go in the wrong way and is very easy to use.
    * These are very open, it means I can hear whats happening nearby clearly and don’t need to remove the headset to have a conversation in person.

    Cons:
    * When the internal mic is muted, you are reminded of this every 10 seconds with a couple of beeps. It’s incredibly distracting. The way I corrected it was to pair the device with a Jabra Link dongle from a previous headset and turn off softphone integration in the Jabra direct software.
    * Music quality isn’t fantastic, but that isn’t why I bought it.
