I like it. The voice is clear and easy to use. Worth the price. Only downside is the band that go behind head is a bit wide. Otherwise work great!

I have very narrow ear canals, which makes the wearing of in-ear headphones frustrating, even with the smallest buds.
These were a revelation. Amazing sound, excellent bluetooth connectivity and good quality.
My only complaint is the fitting around the back of my head–there’s too much room.
I ended up purchasing another pair, this time in the Shokz Run style, small which fits nicely.
One set is paired to my PC and Chromebook, the other to my phone and Android tablet.
    Works for me.
    Love the brand.

I compare this headphones with higher grade aeropex and openrun pro which I also own.

Disadvantages: The sound fidelity is worse but passable, I listen to podcasts and audiobooks mostly and am no audiophile so sound-wise they are OK for me – openrun pro are way ahead – mind the pro model is really a hybrid (not pure bone conduction). They are heavier but its not such a big deal for comfort, but they are shaped less comfortably around ears, I feel them unlike with openrun pro which are resting very gently I almost don’t notice. Battery life is bit shorter but I get nominal listening time from them and don’t find the battery life too short

Now advantages: sturdy, they feel stronger then aeropex which I had various durability issues in the past, they have much better noise cancellation as phone/computer headset then aeropex, comparable with openrun pro, I like the multifunction button better it is more sturdy giving better control with rewind/forward function. Last but not least USB-C charging this is main selling point for me with this model – I no longer have to carry separate cable for them.

I am quite pleased with them for daily use in office and home, they work unreal with LG OLED tv for surround affect (like any open ear). For sports I would still choose openrun or openrun pro, Pro have best sound quality alas with some leakage – they combine bone conduction with open speakers for high frequency.

I’ve had several makes of bone conduction headsets, and this BY FAR is the best sound quality and has the lowest sound leakage – the fact that you can feel the bass in the vibrations (if you hold the “ear” bits in your fingers) rather than the previous ones I’ve had where they’re little speakers that push against your head

The sound is outstanding for bone conduction, it’s clear and has a good range, but the volume isn’t loud enough if you’ve got any level of background noise, so if you’re near traffic you hear NOTHING!!!

I’m keeping these for the gym, and around the flat, as they’re pretty much pointless outside

    Ein OpenMove
    Wie kam die Entscheidung zustande?
    Preis und USB-C Standard.
    Kein Spezial Ladekabel bitte!

    Genau was ich brauche.
    Man muss folgendes wissen.
Wird der Hörer zu laut betrieben, fängt er an auf der Schläfe zu vibrieren.
    Das ist unschön.
Heisst also, diese Vibration bestimmt die Maximallautstärke.
Gilt für Musik UND besonders für Telefonate.

I was so pleased to find these bone conduction head set as I dislike in ear head sets
and was delighted with them BUT I quickly realised that you can’t lay down with them on because of the cable
It wraps around the head but doesn’t lay against the head but sits away from the head prevented the head resting against pillows
    So that is extremely disappointing
Easy to use comfortable to wear
    So light
Can wear glasses with them on
    Can hear your surrounding
    Comes with a storage bag
    Cracking sound
    So have given them 4stars
Lost one star because of the store wire at the back of the head

Great that I can move around freely without the fear of losing them. They do hurt my hears after a period of wearing but I do have very sensitive ears.

The concept of these bone conduction headphones is a good one: by not pumping sound waves into your ear canal you can keep your hearing healthy. I’m conscious of doing this after years of playing in bands.

OK, if you’re going running these might be a viable option but…….

All these seem to be are speakers that you put near your ear. I get the same effect from putting my over ear headphones either in front or behind my ears.

Also, the rigid band that connects the 2 earphones catches on your collar (even in a t-shirt) and moves them about. You can’t lounge on the sofa in them as the band pulls them off your head. If I was cycling I think they’d get shifted all over the place as your head position is effectively tilted upwards so the band would be constantly touching your neck or the top of your back.

    Pretty pointless really.

I haven’t used any bone-conducting headphones before, so this is not a comparison, I don’t know how they rate next to other similar products or others in the Shokz range.

My verdict: I recommend these headphones. I am glad I got mine.

    Pros:
    • Overall good quality, and accurate to the product description.
    • Decent audio quality (surprisingly). Feels like you’ve got background music for your life.
    • If you don’t have sensitive ears, they’re pretty unnoticeable.
    • They come with a protective carry pouch, and stickers for customisation.
    • Great for calls or music when you need to use earplugs (or any similar in-ear loud noise relief), or when you need to pay attention to your surroundings.

    Cons:
    • The jump between volume notches is massive (a common problem in Bluetooth audio devices).
    • It’s hard to hear at max volume in noisy environments (though earplugs mitigate this).
    • By contrast, the built-in voice/beep is startling & loud.
    • If you have sensitive ears, the way they sit behind your ear + on your face gets uncomfortable over time.

    My thoughts:

I worried that these were just an overpriced speaker that sits outside your ear, but they’re not like that. It’s genuinely hard to hear unless it is on you, and when it is on you, it’s surprisingly clear. Bone conduction is pretty cool!

It sounds like having background music akin to a movie or game, where it’s there but you can still very clearly hear everything else around you. Really great for anyone who wants music but needs to remain social/pay attention/listen for potential danger in their surroundings.

They greet you when you turn them on/pair them/turn them off, and beep when you press any of the buttons. These built-in sounds are REALLY loud compared to my music, oof. I pull them away from my ears a bit before I press buttons. They also suffer from the sadly common Bluetooth audio device problem where the volume jump between notches is massive, and in some situations it can be either too high or too low. Even at max volume, because it’s just vibrating sound against your face, it’s really hard to hear in noisy places like shopping centres or heavy traffic.

However, you can mitigate that using earplugs or similar. I went to a store yesterday and wore these with my Loops Engage (HIGHLY recommend for people with audio processing issues), and it was amazing; the Loops dulled the noisy background environment, and I could hear my music clearly AND converse with my wife without issue. It was an experience that I just cannot get with other earphones or headphones.

They don’t slip, slide, or fall. The band at the back can’t be adjusted – for everyday use they sit well, but they’re a little annoying if you’re looking up/down a lot, and difficult to keep in place if you’re lying down or using a head rest. For people with smaller heads, you’ll probably want the (more expensive) version with the smaller band. They’re light enough, and if you don’t have sensitive ears, you can just set-and-forget them.

People who use eating aids or similar things that need to loop over behind your ears will find them obstructive at best, incompatible at worst. They’re fine for anything else though, like glasses, hats, and masks.

I have quite sensitive ears and can’t wear earbuds, headphones, masks with ear loops, etc. for more than a couple of hours some days. Some things I noticed:

    – By design (so they don’t fall off), the buds put a gentle pressure on the parts of your head that they’re resting on. It’s not immediately noticeable, but when you wear them for a while it feels like a lot.

    – They’re designed for wear with glasses/masks/etc., but keep in mind that anything that touches them puts pressure on them, which means more pressure on your ear/face.

    – The placement of the main body right behind the ear gets uncomfortable in a similar way to masks with thick/tight ear loops. I find that I’m adjusting it constantly.

    – However, wearing masks with these is WAY more tolerable than wearing masks with over-ear headphones.

    – Being out-of-ear is really great for the parts of my head/ears that get super painful with regular earphones or headphones! My ears also don’t get hot at all.

I haven’t had enough time with the call/mic features to really comment but they seem decent to me. The mic pics my voice up and as long as I’m in an area where I can hear the Shokz well enough, I can hear the other person well enough. I may update this review if this changes.
