Great noise cancelling headsets, especially in this price range. However, there are a few things to be aware of. These are my observations after using the headsets for a while:
PROS:
– Great sound quality with a lot of preset EQ options in the app
– Bluetooth 5.3, connects to two devices at the same time (eg. the phone and the laptop)
– Amazing battery life (50hrs with ANC on and 65hrs with ANC off)
– Impressive noise cancelling, with the following caveat: the noise cancelling is very good as long as the headsets stay properly sealed around your ears, however, (from my experience) the headsets tend to lose some of the seal when I move my head around, letting some of the noise to come through, which is a little annoying especially on a plane, it is not terrible, but it is noticeable
CONS:
– Slightly heavier than the top brands like Bose or Sony noise cancelling headsets
– Slightly less comfortable than the top brands. On the long-haul flight, you will definitely notice you are wearing them
– Probably not the best option for people with very small heads
– The transparency mode is good but doesn’t reduce the music volume which makes it hard to hear what people are saying if you are listening to a music
But overall these are great headsets, especially in their price range. If you have never had noise cancelling headsets before you will be very impressed and will enjoy them. However, if you have used the top brands like Bose QC series or Sony XM series before you will notice the difference. Just keep in mind that the Bose or Sony cost twice as much!

I really wanted to like these, such good reviews across the board and an incredibly competitive price versus Bose or Sony so…I went for it.
If found the noice cancellation pretty mediocre to be honest, adaptive as it is it seemed more to confuse the issue as it was trying to find its feet.
Fit was a little loose for me, I have a size 56 noggin so not too small or too big but these moved around on my head a little too much which further confused the NC
I could forgive this if the sound quality was good and, with some tracks there was great range and clarity. That said, with others it was a bit ‘soupy’ with blurring across the ranges that made the whole thing seem like it was crashing into itself.
Sound however, like taste, is a personal thing and it may very well be these are just not my thing. I returned them.
A little on the build etc….they seem pretty robust and not flimsy in any way at all. the memory foam ear-ads were nice. The case too was okay although its probable you would remove the plastic insert immediately as it feels as though it wouldn’t last long and is fiddly (perhaps this is what you are supposed to do, remove it?).
Bottom line, they did feel good quality, the sound was good for some tracks but not others (spoken word too was not to my liking). The ANC I found annoying and the fit exacerbated this as it tried to keep up when moving about.
I will say, the accompanying app was pretty good.
I’m now just waiting on my refund and will be buying Sony….Sorry, Anker!

Bought these primarily for noise cancellation, as I have the misfortune of living next to neighbours with zero consideration – at 6am, 7-days a week pretty much! These headphones cancel out nearly all the banging, shouting/screaming and musical instruments I’m subjected to so just what I needed. I’m a very light sleeper, made worse lately with heightened anxiety, so for the past few days I’ve slipped the headphones on just before 6, turn them on, and just have the NC mode running – no music. You can only hear a very subtle, gentle wave-like sound, which enables me to drop back to sleep for another hour (or 2 if it’s the weekend and I’m lucky!)
The headphones don’t quite cancel out the kitchen worktop hammering I’m subjected to every morning, which vibrates up the adjoining wall through 3 floors as they pulp their breakfast (frozen smoothie methinks!), but it does reduce the startling volume at least!
I found I can lay in bed with them on and still sleep, despite them being over-head earphones and quite bulky, both on my back and on my side. They’re pretty comfortable and well-cushioned.
Though my main objective for purchasing these was for noise cancellation, I have listened to music as well late at night and the quality is excellent. I’m not a music sound expert, however, but these are more than adequate for my needs. My music tastes vary but mainly soul/jazz/funk/reggae. I’ll also enjoy taking them on holiday with me this year so will get good use out of them and the battery life seems great too.
Hope this helps anyone needing to get a bit of respite from anti-social neighbours, as well as some good sound quality for other purposes. These are worth investing in! Just wish I’d bought them sooner.

Noise cancelling good, good for traveling, battery life excellent, not so many features on the headset, however volume just does not go loud enough, and for that reason I am returning them, shame really because everything else is ok
After trying these out further i was very impressed with the sounds that can be adjusted, and this helped the volume output, so have now decided to keep these as on reflection price and sound and battery ,overall performance its great value for money, and sound not to far away from the Sony noise cancelling headphones that cost a lot more

These are the first ANC headphones I have owed (normally go for open back headphones) so cannot compare to other noise cancelling headphones.
I do however own a pair of fantastic Philips Fidelio X2HR headphones and can honestly say that the clarity of the Q45 is just as good, you can hear every detail.
The soundstage is no where near as wide, comparing to the X2HR’s, it doesn’t feel that you are in the studio with the artist, it feels that you are wearing headphones. However, I’m pleased to say the sound quality is just as good and the trebles and mids are good too (once you adjust the EQ in the app) the sound is really deep as well (especially with the Soundcore signature selected with base up) LDAC mode is available too (only on Android phones) similar to the Sony WH1000-XM5, which is a great addition as these cost 3 times more than the Q45’s
The transparency mode is great you can hear everything around you (although a bit artificial). ANC is however absolutely amazing, and the technology to do this is beyond me, it just works. Also if you double click the play/pause button on the side of the headphone it opens up hey Google, another great feature that I wasn’t aware of.
Overall, I am super impressed with the technology, features and the sound quality of these headphones I would certainly recommend these, especially for the price.

I recently bought a Sony wh XM5 as my main headphone and Soundcore q45 to use as my PC headset. My previous headphones were Bose q35. So I have a quite reasonable idea how top tire headphones are sounding. To be honest, out of the box, Soundcore sounds crap. But after few research I made some changes to the EQ (Specially turn off bass boost in their signature EQ). I am not a audiophile. But Trust me guys, now sound quality wise I really can’t see any difference between Sony and Soundcore. Actually I spent quite a bit of time comparing two headphones with different music genres, but I rarely felt Sony has a edge. Very happy with the Soundcore. But Sony is more comfortable to wear and sometimes feels like there is more spacy sound. Soundcore grip around my ears are little bit tight for my liking. I spent a quite bit of time researching best EQ for Soundcore Q45. But with latest firmware update it came adapt EQ settings which automatically set EQ after a sound test. It works marvelously. Finally do I regret buying More expensive Sony (nearly three times expensive)? No. Because I believe that you cry only once when you buy the best. But sound quality and budget wise Soundcore is a serious serious contender.

Simply put there are some plus and minuses I noticed as it follows:
+ On the ear cushion. You can keep them on your ears for longer terms without affecting your ear lobes.
+ The had case feels better almost ‘leathery’. It is definitely stronger than the previous years velvet. It is also a bit smaller.
+ The NC is somewhat a bit better but not enough to notice big differences. There is also a bad noise at +5 NC.
– They don’t have a sensor when you take them off your ears so they continue to play the sound unless you press pause
– They don’t have a sensor to tap for different modes on your left ear.
+ Buttons are somewhat slightly better than last year Q35.
– Material is a bit plasticky. On Q35 from last year it had some sort of rubber feel.
Overall they are good but the NC is a bit of a flop. It’s definitely not able to cancel 98% of the sounds. To me it feels more like an improvement from Q35 of max. 10%. Overall I would not pay for them £138 especially since Q35 are getting sold with £85.

This will be MY experience with the soundcore Q45, other ears may vary. The q45 tuning out the box did not surprised me at the least. The sounding was a not too great with only a sight emphasis on the bass and the mids sounded not too clear and was distant. The treble sounded great, nice and strong and decently clear. I know you hear everyone say this but honestly once eq, it sounds grwat and definitely worth the price, mids sound clear and bass is strong enough for my liking and also treble is great as ever. The bass up option in my opinion is the most overrated option in this headphone. It does it purpose yes but it ruins every other good aspect of the headphones. For example the clear trebles and the clear mids (when you eq it ) are completely placed in the background and are not great, but if they allowed you to have this type of bass on your custom eq, would be a game changer. The sound leakage is not bad. I haven’t noticed anyone hear my sound and being annoyed by it at all. All good. Btw I’ve seen a review saying they do have sound leakage, completely fault, this review took the headphones off and listened to it from there, that’s not how it works. Your head blocks the sound from leaking. Don’t trust other reviews I guess ahha. Anc is not as great as premium ones like Bose’s, Sony’s of course but it does a damn good job. Cuts out low end frequencies well and it does it purpose. Comfort is a tough choice. With this headphone, it definitely varies cause the headband is quite thin but not thin to the point with people who has decent amount of hair will notice, others will. My experience, nice soft earpads, good headband for me, but the headphones are a little loose so while walking, your music kinda shakes but you’ll get used to it. Also you can reduce this through moving it around to get a better fit but it doesn’t always get rid of it. Transparency is good. Does it job, does sound tinny but it okay. Does it job. Overall worth it price. I would not go any higher than this brand of headphones. Not worth the upgrade to Sony or bose due to the gap of price. Good headphones soundcore. Also the headphones are a bit bulky looking, if you really care about that, I tbh don’t.

Decided to cop these Space Q45 headset at my own cost because my Jabra wired headset seems to have become faulty…after a day of fine-tuning the settings, finally found the optimal way to use this headset for work use and it was perfect…Here are what I think are the pros and cons, but overall I super highly recommend these….
Pros
– Loads of features that are mature
– Multipoint connections
– mic quality is better than expected
– Bluetooth 5.3 range is superb
– Fantastic software + hardware experience.
– ANC is superb
– 1/2 or 1/3 or even 1/4 of the price of a top end premium brand headset but this does not seem to be worse than those one.
– High volume control, you can set this headset not to give you sound thats too loud which damages the hearing…
Cons
– should consider adding aptX codecs into the headset.
